A new form of TikTok slang is being used on the app, in the style of emojis, which represents a particular platform.

The orange and black square emojis are being paired together in order to reference a specific website!

What does ?⬛ mean on TikTok?

The orange and black square emojis are being used by TikTok creators to reference the internet p*rnography site named P*rn Hub.

But, why these two emoticons?

These particular emojis represent the P*rn Hub logo, which is an orange and black rectangle containing the name of the site.

However, the orange and black square emojis have now been censored on the app, meaning that content which contains this emoticon-phrase is banned.

TikTok users also refer to this platform as ‘The Hub’, which has not yet been censored.

The popular hashtag, #thehub, currently has 439.8 million views and is full of content surrounding the adult-platform.

Why do TikTokers use these emojis?

TikTok’s Community Guidelines involve a section referring to the use of ‘Adult nudity and s*xual activities’.

Within the guidelines, the app clearly states:

“We do not allow nudity, p*rnography, or s*xually explicit content on our platform.”

In order to adhere to the rules and regulations of the app, content which represents p*rnography is prohibited.

This has led to TikTokers using the orange and black square emojis (‘?⬛‘) when referring to the adult-site (P*rn Hub).

As mentioned before, these emojis have now been censored so the use of the term ‘The Hub’ has became more popular on the app.

Suspicious TikTok examples

Below are five suspicious examples of how TikTok creators use the secret terms ‘?⬛‘ and ‘The Hub’ on the app.

TikTok user (@toop.talks) used both terms to refer to the explicit platform in a video whereby they fooled their viewers.

Another user (@lordclaps101) expressed his disappointment by commenting：

“I thought I was gonna get some good vids ?”

Creator named @bradd.royer has also used ‘The Hub’ to reference P*rn Hub in many of his videos.

@bradd.royer included the hashtag #theynotreallyonthehubbutireallygotyou in his caption of this upload; suggesting that this information is false.

@brent.murphy also created a similar video, listing a number of celebrities which can also allegedly be found on ‘The Hub’.

@itswaol re-enacted a popular scene which occurs on the platform in his comical upload.

The TikTok involved him getting stuck in a washing appliance while the P*rn Hub introduction-tune begins to play as his step-brother walks in asking if help is needed.

Content creator, @cameroncanela, used the ‘The Hub’ reference to display her visit at the P*rn Hub HQ.

Explicit content-creator on ‘The Hub’ (@littlebuffbabe) used the reference in the caption of her TikTok video.

This video contains footage of her dancing, with text explaining that she finds this more embarrassing than her nude body being shown on the adult-platform.
