If you don’t know the answer, it means you are one of the innocent ones. Scroll to find out the true meaning of the trend… but do so at your own risk.

About the Hey Lol Khaleel TikTok song

This song is actually created by American singer Donald Glover, who is more popular by his stage name Childish Gambino.

He is a successful actor, writer, producer, director, rapper, and comedian. Is there anything this guy can’t do?

Glover’s third album called “Awaken, My Love” was released by Glassnote Records in 2016. It comprised of three songs, one of which was “Redbone” and rose to no. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and lead to his first Grammy Award.

This song was re-created by Khaleel (@khaleel) on TikTok which has 94k video views because of an addition to the starting of the song. This addition has a double meaning which started this bizarre trend.

Khaleel Abdullah is a TikTok star with more than 1.6 million followers and he is also gaining a lot of clout because of his music on Instagram as well.

Even though he has just posted 22 pictures (check it out – @xxkhaleel), he has more than 70 thousand fans over here.

Daylight I Wake Up Feeling Like You lyrics

Daylight
I wake up feeling like you won’t play right
I used to know, but now that shit don’t feel right
It made me put away my pride
So long
You made a nigga wait for some, so long
You make it hard for a boy like that to go wrong
I’m wishing I could make this mine, oh

If you want it, yeah
You can have it, oh, oh, oh
If you need it, oooh
We can make it, oh
If you want it
You can have it

But stay woke
Niggas creepin’
They gon’ find you
Gon’ catch you sleepin’ (Oooh)
Now stay woke
Niggas creepin’
Now don’t you close your eyes

Too late
You wanna make it right, but now it’s too late
My peanut butter chocolate cake with Kool-Aid
I’m trying not to waste my time

If you want it, oh
You can have it, you can have it
If you need it
You better believe in something
We can make it
If you want it
You can have it, aaaaah!

But stay woke
Niggas creepin’
They gon’ find you
Gon’ catch you sleepin’
Put your hands up on me
Now stay woke
Niggas creepin’
Now, don’t you close your eyes
But stay woke
Niggas creepin’
They gon’ find you
Gon’ catch you sleepin’, ooh
Now stay woke
Niggas creepin’
Now, don’t you close your eyes

Baby get so scandalous, oh
How’d it get so scandalous?
Oh, oh, baby, you…
How’d it get…
How’d it get so scandalous?
Ooh, we get so scandalous
But stay woke
But stay woke

Meaning of the Hey Lol Khaleel trend

This song re-created by Khaleel has an important distinction – it starts with the music used in P*rnhub.

It is one of the most famous p*rn sites and TikTokers are playing this song with the intro of “the hub” to see if anyone recognizes it. You can see the reactions of the users when the song is recognized.

If you have any doubts, check out the song in the TikTok videos and compare it to the intro of P*rnhub in the video below.

We had a chance to talk to this down-to-earth TikTok star and he shared how he created this song.

Khaleel said, “I saw a TikTok video of a guy’s mom walking in on him watching P*rnhub”. He found it hilarious and tried this himself which gave him the idea of trying to see someone’s reaction to watching ‘the hub’ without facing the consequences of watching it.

So he immediately got in touch with his YouTube editor, Jason Flensberg, and pitched this idea. The idea seemed great and the rest is history.

Khaleel also shared that “My reaction to the success is crazy. I would have never thought it would get so popular. I love everything about it and can’t wait to have it keep blowing up.”

Try this trend on for size with people you know and see how they react.
