What is TikTok’s turbulence trend?
Everyone knows what turbulence on an airplane means. Floating freely in the air is terrible by itself but experiencing turbulence is always equally frightening.
But if you thought that was bad, TikTok has come up with another way to add a weird twist to that name. When you open Tiktok and search turbulence, you will be bombarded with videos and hashtags of people attempting or explaining this trend.
One video of a TikTok user explaining this trend has been shown below. They even go on to show how to do it off-camera.
Many commentators took a jab at the creator, using their age to ridicule them for creating a TikTok related to the NSFW topic. While some other commenters showed their gratitude for the information shared.
Some examples are given below, with one commentator expressing their disbelief by saying “Sorry bud but that’s not the turbulence, that’s the sound of the floor’s board cracking”.
Urban Dictionary accurately describes TikTok’s turbulence trend as “That black guy with a beard on TikTok clapping his balls up and down and side to side, creating turbulence“.
Who gave TikTok’s turbulence trend its first flight?
The TikTok trend of turbulence and its content was first introduced by the content creator Just Jo, also known as @officialjustjo. His videos have been stitched and shared by many big creators such as @kai_cenat which garnered millions of views and fame due to their followers in millions.
While dancing during a stream going on live on TikTok, the streamer was heard saying that there was a “whole bunch of turbulence” going on.
You might find yourself thinking, “Well, that’s not so bad,” but the dance in question wasn’t your typical TikTok viral performance.
Instead, it consisted of the streamer, Just Jo noisily slapping his penis between his thighs, which gave rise to a new trend that we know as turbulence now.
After the video was published, many people jumped on it trend, bringing it to fame. Just Jo rode the ride of fame, posting multiple videos ranging from showing off his “turbulence” skills, trying to do it at top speed and even explaining how to do it correctly.
