Red Velvet is a South Korean girl group consisting of five young women; Irene, Joy, Yeri, Wendy and Seulgi.
The band is formed and managed by SM Entertainment, a company that has helped develop and popularise the global K-pop phenomenon which is a genre of popular music originating in South Korea.
The girl band have a huge audience online, with 9.5 million followers on their Instagram account (@redvelvet.smtown) as well as their TikTok account (@redvelvet_smtown) which currently holds 499.7K followers along with 1 million likes in total.

The dance choreography is now being paired with the audio named ‘oh – the vivi trend’.
TikTok creator @tristyeet captioned her Red Velvet-dance video with the statement:
