Snapchat’s The Magic Show – 12 damning reactions to the cast and tricks

Snapchat is trying everything it can to look trendy and hip and the Magic Show was its latest attempt. But how many people actually found it cool?

Snapchat has changed a lot over the years and it keeps changing again and again. People are getting tired of having to learn the app over and over again.

Now it is on the second season of “The Magic Show” which is supposed to be like a TV series but also a less-than-a-minute-long Snapchat story.

How is that even possible? Let’s find out more about this show below

The Magic Show on Snapchat

If you go to your Snapchat app right now and swipe left to see the For You section, you will see this “show” on top.

The first episode was posted on 24 September 2019 and 8 more episodes were posted in 2019, every couple of days.

Unlike the TV shows, Snapchat didn’t try to stay consistent or punctual in posting each episodes so it seems like random stories with “magical acts” posted on random times.

Currently, season 2 has 32 episodes out and you can watch the whole series on Snapchat or on Facebook where this show has its own page.

These videos are scripted as said in the captions of each post on Facebook – “Please note that this page features scripted dramas, parody and satire. The events that take place in this particular short-film video are for entertainment purposes only.”

The problem with this show is not the irregularity or the duration of the videos, but the acting seems to be very bad, the magical acts are not original nor entertaining. Yet the show has four million subscribers so far.

How to watch all the episodes of The Magic Show

Go to Snapchat and swipe left. Click on the Magic Show story in the “For You” section.

Tap on the Magic Show icon on the top left corner of the screen and choose the option of “View More Episodes”.

There are two tabs – “Season 1” and “Season 2” and all the episodes are displayed in chronological order. Select the place from where you would like to start.

We suggest you make it a sleepover with some drinks and popcorn so you can make fun of the tricks show in the show.

Twitter’s review of the show

Every Snapchat user have clicked on it because this show is on the top of the For You section right now (8th February 2021). However, nobody seems to be enjoying it.

Since For You section is for the most trending and entertaining topics and Snapchat put this show there, everybody is complaining about it. People are being extra mean on Twitter.
