To take part in the challenge TikTok users, usually, women will first appear in the video fully clothed while audio of two popular music hits plays- ‘Put Your Head on My Shoulder’ by Paul Anka mixed with ‘Streets’ by Doja Cat.
Those taking part will typically be stood between a doorway, and as the beat ‘drops’, a red filter is used on the frame and the person in the video appears naked, as only their silhouetted figure can be seen, hence the name of the challenge.
Users then use the hashtag #silhouettechallenge which has over 240 million views on TikTok.
