The Rasputin Dance Challenge on TikTok has got users trying their hardest to incorporate some dance moves that most will recognise from their childhood.
What is the Rasputin Dance?
The Rasputin Dance is one that has been around for many years, and users may recognise its familiar sound effects from the Nintendo Wii game ‘Just Dance 2’.
In the game, players must mimic all of the dance moves done by the simulator in order to score points.
While Just Dance 2 came out in 2010, TikTok users have caused the dance to resurface in 2021, and are making it the latest TikTok Dance to storm the app.
In the TikTok version of the Dance, it features users using the song ‘Rasputin’ by Boney M, and follows users doing the dance without the simulator.
How to get involved on TikTok
All TikTok users have to do to get involved is to get involved is to learn the dance and pair it to the audio.
Users can then put the hashtag Rasputin (#rasputin) to join the other users. There there are more than 370 million views under the hashtag.
