Vundabar is a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts and they are popular for their indie rock songs. The band was formed in high school by Brandon Hagen and Drew McDonald.

Their first full-length album was released in 2013 called the Antics. Gawk was their second full-length album and this song, “Alien Blues”, is from that album.
