TikTok’s favorite Grandma Holla passed away in her sleep on January 15 at age 97 after suffering from cancer.
Helen Davis is known as Grandma Holla on the video-sharing platform TikTok, where she goes by the username @lotteryfrappeandlaughs died at age 97. She joined the platform in August 2021 and since then managed to gain more than 800k followers. She also has a Youtube channel, where she has more than 250000 subscribers.
Her videos were mostly about her giving honest answers to different kinds of questions. Her granddaughter Michelle Williams confirmed the news of her death on Youtube and said that she passed away in her sleep at 5 pm on January 15.
She further said, “I want to thank ya’ll so much for you know the smiles ya’ll put on her face you know in her last days it really means the world to me. It meant the world to her.”
The news of her death deeply saddened her followers, who poured down their condolences in the comment section of Davis’s videos. But her granddaughter responded to this by saying “She went out peacefully… what’s really keeping together y’all is she’s not in pain anymore, no more cancer, no more morphine.”

The best part about Grandma Holla’s presence on TikTok was that she never gained attention by jumping on trends like dance challenges and face filters on TikTok. Rather, her content was unique and genuine, where she candidly gave her opinion on almost any topic you can think of.
