If you are an avid TikTok user then you must have come across the recipe for baked feta pasta that everyone has been trying on the platform right now. The recipe was posted by Tiiu Piret on her blog in 2018.
But the recipe gained fame after a variation of it was posted by Jenni Hayrinen in 2019.
Ingredients required to make the baked feta pasta
This is quite an easy recipe and it won’t take you more than an hour to make it, depending on your speed. Even the ingredients required are the ones that are mostly available in your house.
To make this pasta, you need cherry tomatoes, virgin olive oil, a block of feta cheese, salt, pepper, red chili flakes, basil leaves, garlic cloves, and boiled pasta.
You can adjust the quantities of all the ingredients depending on how much you want to cook. If you are someone who likes spicy food, then you can maybe add more spices. This innovation will make the dish more delicious.
How to make TikTok baked feta pasta
Add some olive oil, cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper to a pan. Place a block of feta cheese in the middle and surround it with cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle some more black pepper on top of it. Now put the pan in the oven for around 30 minutes, until the tomatoes burst and the cheese melts.
Meanwhile, boil some pasta. Afterward, take the pan out of the oven and squish everything with a spoon until the texture resembles a thick sauce. Add some red chili flakes and garlic cloves.
Now add the pasta and some basil leaves and mix everything. Add leftover pasta water if you feel like the sauce is too thick. The pasta is now ready!
