However, there is one problem. Since the TikTok video has gone viral, thousands of students have probably liked the TikTok to save for later and put the practice into their own essays. To be exact 58.1k people have liked the original video to save for later… so what’s gonna happen when everyone’s essay sounds very similar? We’re not sure if teachers will actually agree with this TikTok, especially if all students are sounding the same!
Some negative Nancys on Twitter aren’t happy with the idea of using these phrases to make your essay longer and are trying to put people off. One states that it will be a shock when kids have to write concise words and make them make sense.

The comment section of the TikTok video has mixed opinions. Some say this is the best piece of advice they have ever been given and some think they will just get called out for plagiarism.
Other videos are being posted saying to type randoms words and change the colour to white so you can’t see, which will get the word count up. But don’t get caught doing that, it won’t help your grade.
