Everyone on TikTok (and, to be honest, all other forms of social media) understands that it’s all about the filters. TikTok filters are definitely a must-have. Whether you’re adding a hilarious filter to cheer people up, trying a different hairstyle, or attempting to determine. Or whether you can hold your hand still enough to become a surgeon.
If you’ve seen someone using Enhance filter in a video, you may also want to give this a try. Who wouldn’t want to “enhance” their natural beauty (even if just for a TikTok video)? If you’re wondering how to get the filter, we’re afraid you’ll be disappointed by what we have to say.
Want to know hot to get this filter?
A quick look through TikTok videos with the #enhancefilter tag reveals how people are using this filter. The filter has a range of choices that enables users to create the appearance of their face in their videos. You can use the Enhance filter to clean your skin, add contour, whiten your teeth, change the face shape, adjust the size of your lips, and add beauty products. Basically, it’s just one shop for everybody looking to boost their self-esteem!
There appears to be some confusion as to why the Enhance filter is only available to a subset of TikTok users. Some claim that you need a certain number of followers to get the app, while others claim that they had it even when their followers were in the double digits.
If you’re one of the fortunate few who have the Enhance filter, you should see it on the right side of your Camera tab screen when you go to film a video — it’ll be the third one down. If you’re not seeing it, try upgrading your app, but it’s highly probable you weren’t one of the accounts chosen to test the Enhance effect. We’re guessing TikTok will eventually make it available to everyone, so be patient!
On the plus side, you may notice the Beauty effect instead, which is essentially a weaker version of the Enhance effect. Turning on Beauty Mode, from what we can tell, smoothes your skin and softens the camera’s focus a little, but that’s about it. It’s a subtle effect, but it’s not insignificant!
We really hope TikTok soon makes the Enhance effects available to everyone!
