Former The Bachelor and The Bachelorette star Clare Crawley confirmed that she had broke-up with fiancé Dale Moss on Thursday, January 21st, 2021.
Since then, there have been rumours of cheating while fans across the world have been shocked and saddened by the news.
Waiting patiently to hear from Clare and to understand her side of the story, the 39-year-old finally broke her silence with a cryptic Instagram post on Sunday, January 24th, 2021.
However, saying just two words and two numbers… what did the comment mean?
Who is Clare Crawley?
Clare is of the most popular The Bachelor contestants in history after participating on the show in 2014 before joining The Bachelorette four years later in 2020.
Other shows where you may have seen the blonde beauty on would be Bachelor in Paradise and on Bachelor Winter Games.
Basically, she’s been on every reality TV show with the word Bachelor in it!
What happened between Clare and Dale?
Dale Moss is a 32-year-old former NFL star who joined The Bachelorette in 2020.
It was here, in the 16th season of the famous ABC show, where he met Clare, winning her heart and fending off 41 other contestants to be crowned the series winner.
The lovebirds soon got engaged shortly after the show wrapped-up on December 22nd, 2020.
And from then on, the pair lived happily ever after…. or did they?
Following just a couple months of romance, Dale released a statement to confirm that the couple had mutually decided to separate in early 2021.
Although we still don’t know the exact reasons for the break-up, there have been plenty of rumours dotting across the internet. Some reports claim that Clare wanted to move to Sacramento to be with her ailing mother and have kids, which Dale wasn’t ready for, while others claim that Dale had been cheating behind his fiancee’s back the whole time.
Either way, this is all speculation.
So what was ‘Nehemiah 6:9’ caption about?
In Clare’s Instagram post on Sunday, January 24th, she posted the phrase “Nehemiah 6:9” alongside a picture of one of her dogs at the beach.
Clare has two dogs, Elby and Honey, although we’re not sure which pooch is the picture here (feel free to let us know in the comments).
The phrase “Nehemiah 6:9” refers to a verse in the Bible. The full verse reads:
“They were all trying to frighten us, thinking, Their hands will get too weak for the work, and it will not be completed.
“But I prayed, Now strengthen my hands.”
What does the Instagram post have to do with Dale Moss?
Clare is going through some very rough times at the moment, with her mother being ill and the sudden breakup.
Mother Lilia has Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and currently lives in a care facility.
While navigating through these difficult times, it seems that Clare has sought comfort and courage by turning to her spiritual side.
This caption of the verse shows that she believes that even if these hardships were put in her path to make her weak, she is praying to God to strengthen her so that she can fight through this.
