Four girls including Kaylee Goncalve found dead in their residence. A few hours earlier Kaylee had shared a sweet message about the group.
Four girls studying at the University of Idaho, Moscow were found dead in their off-campus residence on Sunday. According to the Moscow Police department, the victims were stabbed to death. The police did not give any further information to respect the privacy of the victims and their families.
This incident happened just after the shooting at the University of Virginia that killed 3 people and left 2 individuals wounded. As soon as the news came out, the University’s president Scott Green notified the student body, “It is with deep sadness that I share with you that the university was notified today of the death of four University of Idaho students living off-campus believed to be victims of homicide.”
People are mourning for this group of girls, who were just in their early twenties and had their whole lives ahead of them. Goncalve, a few hours before her death, posted a picture on her Instagram with all the four girls together and wrote, “One lucky girl to be surrounded by these people.”
One of these girls was Madison Mogen. She and Goncalve were childhood best friends. Goncalve had also shared a picture with her on her Instagram with the caption “I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be the main character in all my childhood stories.”
Kaylee Goncalve’s case
This homicide case has been gaining a lot of traction. Goncalve’s sister Alivia Goncalve has taken responsibility on herself to find the murderer. She has been doing private investigations and finding out who Kaylee was in contact with before her death.
She found footage of Kaylee and Madison, while they were buying something from a food truck and then headed back home in an uber on the day of their murder.
Let’s hope that Alivia and the police authorities manage to get the person who was behind this.
