25-year-old TikTok star Modou Adams has been jailed for nearly 7 years after being caught smuggling almost 3 kilograms of cocaine.
Modou Dodou Adams, who is also known as ‘theboywholives’ on Instagram, is a 25-year-old TikTok star. He frequently shares videos of his extravagant lifestyle with his followers, where he is seen roaming around luxuriously across multiple cities like Los Angeles, Athens, and Peru.
However, it is now becoming clear that Adam’s luxurious lifestyle was due to illicit business involving smuggling drugs. Due to this, he will probably be spending his late 20’s and early 30’s in jail. He was arrested on 30th September from the Jorge Chávez international airport, which is located north of the country’s capital Lima.
According to a statement by Peru’s Supreme Court Adams has been sentenced to jail for 6 years and 8 months, as he was caught smuggling 2.8 kilograms of cocaine from the Peru airport to London. While the star’s ultimate destination was London, he was all set to stop in Paris for a while.

After stopping him at the airport the police searched his luggage and found cocaine concealed in a hidden pouch inside his suitcase. Reports tell us that Adams was shocked to see drugs coming out of his bag.
Along with serving the sentence, Adams also has to pay a hefty fine of £1,281.00. When taken to court, Adams was accompanied by an interpreter, and without hesitation, he admitted to his crimes. He was given his sentence by Judge Renee Quispe Silva for “illicit trafficking in toxic drugs, to the detriment of the Peruvian state”.
His last post on Instagram was made four days prior to his arrest, where he was present at Machu Picchu. His social media accounts are now deleted.
