Reports by NBC 12 stated that a 12-year-old boy from Colorado ended up in the hospital, supposedly after taking part in the dangerous Choking Challenge on TikTok.
According to news outlets, the boy named Joshua Haileyesus was found unconscious in his bathroom by his twin brother on March 22.
Although it is unclear whether or not the individual was participating in the Choking Challenge, his family stated that they believe he was attempting to choke himself as part of the TikTok challenge.
The trend also resulted in the death of a 10-year-old girl from Italy.

“We do not allow content depicting, promoting, normalizing, or glorifying activities that could lead to suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders.”

“We also do not permit users to share content depicting them partaking in, or encouraging others to partake in, dangerous activities that may lead to serious injury or death.”

- Press the icon that says ‘report’ along with a flag symbol.
