A pizzeria in Las Vegas went from no customers to completely booked in a few hours after a video posted by a food critic on TikTok.
Las Vegas is filled with a variety of food options. From Mexican and Korean to Vegan, you will definitely find something to your liking when you visit. But so many options mean that there is a lot of competition among restaurant owners, where one restaurant’s fame means the other one is high and dry.
Frankincense’s Pizzeria was one of those high-and-dry restaurants. It opened around 4 months ago but was struggling to stay afloat due to a lack of customers. According to the owner Frank Steele, he was barely making $400 a day. He also said that this restaurant had been his dream for the past 30 years, but things had been really gloomy lately.
However, one Monday night a customer walked into the restaurant and needless to say changed the fate of the restaurant and the owner. Steele said, “I had this guy come in and didn’t know who he was, and I started talking to him because I like talking to all my customers. I asked him where he was from and what he did for work and that’s when he said he was a food critic.”

This new customer was Keith Lee, a famous food reviewer on TikTok. Steele says that despite knowing that his customer was a food critic he did not think much about it. However, in a few hours, his restaurant got flooded with customers. People came from Iowa, Utah, and California.
Steele said, “Our phone never stopped ringing. I’ve sold more lemon pepper wings in the last two days than I have in the past four months. I made more garlic knots yesterday and the day before than I’ve ever made.”
