After six months, TikTok star Cooper Noriega’s cause of death has been confirmed. The influencer died from an accidental drug overdose.
Six months ago, Cooper Noriega was found dead in his car in a parking lot of an LA-area mall on June 9. The star, who has a following of over 3 million on TikTok, was only 19 at the time. The cause of death was unknown until today.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner said that he died from the effects of fentanyl, alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax), and lorazepam (a sedative). The star had always been vocal on social media about his relationship with drugs, which started when he was only 9 years old.
In a podcast with Dave Portnoy he once said “I mean, we’re talking Xanax, Adderall, marijuana, nicotine,” To this, Portnoy replied “Nine [years old], that’s crazy. I didn’t even know I was playing G.I. Joe when I was 9.”
