A bridesmaid’s racist wedding speech just went viral on TikTok and is giving viewers secondhand embarrassment and cringe.
Things were going completely fine for Tracy and Anthony (the bride and the groom) until Shannon came up on the stage to give her bridesmaid speech. But luckily for us, we know everything about the speech because the groom’s sister Tori, who goes by browneyed_beautee on TikTok, kept us updated.
Tori posted a 1-minute and 49 seconds video of the bride’s friend, Shannon, giving a speech. The speech does not start badly. Shannon introduces herself as the bride’s friend, but then forgets how long they have been friends.
Then she mimics Tracy about how often she talks about Anthony but follows the statement quickly with “just kidding”. This was just the beginning. She then goes on to say “I am gonna be racist” while laughing and then gives constant assurance to the crowd about how she loves black people.

Her speech was cut off when someone in the crowd started to clap, as an indication to Shannon that her speech was over, and the crowd joined in. Tori later uploaded another video applauding the individual who started to clap because that brutal speech needed to end.
Since the video went viral, viewers started questioning why Shannon was even invited to the wedding and didn’t the bride have other friends. To this, Tori posted a speech given by another friend to show that this wasn’t the only speech made at the wedding.
