‘Thatsnotlove’ is the TikTok user behind a new video making rounds on social media. However, many people disagree with her.
The internet is a place of free expression. Every day, millions of people come online to discuss their opinions, predispositions, goals, relationships, and so on. However, people tend to share too much of their personal lives every so often.
The TikTok user @thatsnotlove might be the latest in this trend of oversharing with her unfiltered views on pornography.
Who is Thatsnotlove on TikTok?
Yesterday, a Twitter user posted a controversial video. In this video, a woman spoke about her experience watching the blockbuster Oppenheimer with her husband. The woman was none other than Jourdan Kehr (also known as Thatsnotlove on TikTok).
In the viral video with over 23 million views, Jourdan discussed her aversion to sex scenes. She said that she and her husband went to see Oppenheimer with a ‘game plan.’
Furthermore, she revealed that she had her husband close his eyes anytime a sex scene came up in the movie. She claimed it was their healthy way of keeping her husband porn-free, as she would have been upset otherwise. She also stated that this habit took nothing away from the film’s plot as they enjoyed it all the same. Watch the trending video below.
However, many seemingly disagreed with her perspective, claiming it was biased.
The 29-year-old ‘relationship expert’ operates two accounts on TikTok, namely ‘@thatsnotlove’ and ‘@thatsanaddiction’ where she posts anti-porn content. On the latter, she responded to the negative reactions to her trending video with this clip.
Thatsnotlove is a self-acclaimed survivor of ‘betrayal trauma,’ which she frequently discusses on her TikTok pages. In this video, she describes it as “living in two different worlds simultaneously.”
In the video below, the West Virginia resident documents her reaction when she found out her husband of ten years had been watching pornography.
Regardless of your stance on Thatsnotlove’s TikTok videos, it is true that porn addiction is harmful to relationships.
However, that’s not to say that watching porn is bad. Jourdan has a very personal experience with porn addiction. Maybe that’s why she feels so strongly about it.
What do you think about Thatsnotlove and her unwavering stance on internet porn? Is she overtly biased, or could she be on to something?
