With Christmas only a week away people on TikTok are getting into the festive spirit by sharing their best sugar cookie recipes and methods.
With some of the UK still being in Tier 3 lockdown what better way is there to entertain yourself than by doing a bit of Christmas baking?
To make it even better apparently sugar cookies aren’t even that calorific, meaning you can indulge in even more Christmas treats without dreading the gym in January.
If you feel your baking skills are lacking and don’t want to mess it up, do not fear, some of the sugar cookie recipes have as little as three ingredients, which makes it almost impossible to get them wrong.
(unless you forget to take them out the oven.)

Popular food TikToker @fitwaffle shared her perfect sugar cookie recipe with her 600 thousand followers.
TikTok user @Matthewinthekitchen has over 1.6 million followers on TikTok for sharing his quirky new recipes, in this video, he shares his easy three-ingredient sugar cookie recipe.
This video by @fooddlights even shows you how to decorate your sugar cookies in the most adorable way.
Our favourite sugar cookie recipe!
We’ve put together a foolproof sugar cookie recipe for you to impress all your friends and family this Christmas.
Add 220g of butter and 200g of granulated sugar to a bowl
Whisk together
Add one large egg and a dash off vanilla and mix
add 360 grams of plain flower
Add 1 tbsp of baking powder and 1 tbsp of salt
Mix together with your hands until it becomes a dough
Use a rolling pin to roll out and flatten
Use a cookie cutter to cut out your desired shapes
Bake in the oven for at 160 degrees for 7 minutes.
Finally decorate with icing however you like
