Spotify released its ‘year wrapped’ feature, Snapchat released ‘a look back at this year’ and it was only fitting that TikTok did their own!
With countless users having accounts on the app, it is no wonder that TikTok wanted to do something similar.
TikTok has released their own version of a roundup of your year, and it even lets you get a 2021 badge for your profile.
TikTok: What is the 2021 badge?
Any user that has been on TikTok in the past few days may have seen other accounts showing off a brand new 2021 badge!
The badge is a new feature, and can be added to a user’s profile picture to celebrate moving into the new year!
But all the users are asking the same thing- where do I find it?
Here’s how!
How to get the 2021 badge on TikTok
To get the 2021 badge, TikTok users must use the new ‘Year on TikTok’ feature.
This new feature will allow users to see a look back at their year in 2020.
To use this feature, follow all users have to do is follow these simple steps:
- Open TikTok
- Look at the top of your ‘for you’ page where a special banner should have appeared, which says ‘year on TikTok’
- Click the banner and ‘get started’ which should then show you your TikTok year in review!
Alternatively, if this doesn’t work users can:
- Type in #2021
- Click one of the videos
- Go onto the TikTok account
- See where they have the badge on their profile picture
- Click the badge
- Make your own!
How to make the badge appear
After users have posted their highlight video, the badge should appear automatically above their profile picture.
If not, go through another profile with the badge and click ‘get your badge!’
