A bear in Boulder, Colorado spots a wildlife camera near him and due to curiosity ends up clicking 400 selfies.

Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks are stretched across 46,000 acres of land. There are a total of 9 camera places in this area to capture animal activities and movements so that they can be studied from a safe distance.

Recently, the social media team of the park took to Twitter to share 4 bear selfies out of 400 originally clicked. They told how one of the bears found a wildlife camera and in an attempt to investigate what it was the bear ended up clicking 400 selfies.

However, these were not only accidental pictures. Rather, one can see the bear striking different poses- Chin tilts, smoldering eyes, a coy look over the shoulder.  Andrew Matecki, a Los Angeles talent casting, and art director said, “The engagement is iconic, the confidence really comes through.”

A spokesperson from the park said that usually animals do not pay much heed to the camera and go forward minding their own business. But this one was unique in its interaction with the camera.

If you like bears then coming to this park in Colorado might not be a really good idea, since these bears are rarely spotted. Even the staff at the park hardly sees them. However, you can always plan a trip to Katmai, Alaska, and be part of Fat Bear Week.

The cameras are meant to help the team learn more about how local wildlife species use the landscape while ensuring staff presence is kept to a minimum.
